Little Wild Horse Canyon

More pics from my trip to Goblin Valley. This is one of the slot canyons down there, this place was a little more technical. It involved a little bit of bouldering so I don't think I would bring small children on it. It is a fun hike though with a lot to look at and do. It definitely keeps you entertained.

Stay tuned for more from my trip to Goblin Valley. I'll be posting pictures from our hike up Little Wild Horse Canyon and back down Bell Canyon, two slot canyons next to Goblin Valley. Hmm, now I just need to decide what I'm doing my next free weekend. It's getting kind of cold and I'm not really set up for winter camping, but I'm thinking a nice hike might just be what I need.

More Goblin Valley pics

We spent a bit of time exploring the park, it is a family friendly place where small children and adults alike can have fun. I would suggest going during spring or fall as I can imagine it would get pretty hot there during the summer. We didn't actually stay at the park we camped on BLM land which was beautiful but if you stay in the park they have nice campsites, toilets, and showers you can use.

Goblin Valley State Park

Well I am back from Goblin Valley State park and I had a blast. The place is beautiful, I don't understand people who think that desert landscapes are ugly. Look at these pictures, how could you think that after seeing these?

I'm going to Goblin Valley. I'm going to Goblin Valley. I am so excited! I have never been there before but I hear it is pretty awesome. I will post some pics when I get back on Sunday. Woohooo. Wish me luck.
